Literature Evening with Vsevolod Bernstein

Vsevolod Bernstein is a Russian writer and journalist, who lives in Switzerland. His famous novel "Basel World" and his new storybook "Once in the city Z" deals with the Russians who come to Switzerland or already live here. After the reading, the author told us how he came up with the ideas for his literary works and why he was so interested in these topics. The illustrator of the book Tatyana Gubij explained to the audience which stories were the most difficult for her to depict. Our students and guests took an active part in asking questions. This emotional and magical evening ended up with a book signing and a small personal drawingfor each book from Tatyana. How nice!
